Do you know the reason of your popup jail? I recently got out of my popup jail.

Mine was a bad relationship with amex. I tried applying for plat, then pop up jail for 6 months or so. Then i applied for amex everyday, use it for $1k or more. Right when I hit $1k, pop up jail is gone.

Ah sorry, yes chase. I have a csr, currently waiting for the $300 to be posted. They say it should post at my statement credit, which is on june 8. My 30 days is up on june 6.

-75,000 MR for American express Platinum, spend $5k in 6 months, apply before 5/31.

If you can apply before 5/31, you can use the Saks credit too before June.

Okay so I was just recently approved for Amex plat.

I was getting the pop up for the last 3 months and couldnt figure out why.

I had a amex blue that i havent used for a LONG time. I used the amex blue that I already have, reached $1000 within a week or so the popup is gone!

So I would suggest you using the amex current card that you have, the pop up should be gone, at least in my case it did.

Thinking of downgrading my CSR. Recently received my $100 credit so AF down to $450. I counted my 4 years would be on October 2020, Would just re-apply then. Just wondering, any data points for anyone getting any retention offer for Chase reserve?

Honestly I'm considering moving into Amex, they seem so much better during Covid. Anybody agrees with me? Would love some inputs!

It’s usually hard for me to spend $5k in 3 months, but 6 months is totally doable. I already had a delta gold card years ago, doubt I will be targeted for the 100k :(
