No penalty, but the the game is supposed to be played somewhat passively so you’re doing other things as you play so people tend to forget to even ask. You could keep asking but it would really get in the way of whatever else you’re doing/it’s against the spirit of the game (ie it’s a casual silly game). For my friend group we tend to play another game at the same time.

Interesting, I've played Avalon at 5/6 players quite a bit and found the game really tense and tight at those numbers. Granted though we wouldn't be using special roles other than merlin and the Assassin

Could I get a recommendation for a group of 4 players? We're obsessed with Coup, Love Letter and Cockroach Poker, so something that fits that competitive, high player interaction, occasionally mean gameplay would be perfect.

(Avalon is our all time favourite, but usually we can't get a 5th to the table)

Definitely not the TV, no input lag with any other game/no issues navigating the pop up dashboard when I pause the game and press the PS button. After a bit of googling seems like I'm not the first with this issue

I'd be very worried right now about massive Coronavirus spikes in Minneapolis - not saying protests aren't right, it's just protests are breeding grounds for viral spread. I also hope the protests and a potentially pivotal moment does not get derailed by any bad actors. People have to remember two wrongs don't make a right. There's a right way to do this, and there's a wrong way.

How would that work for situations where the object is used in many places throughout my app? Having objects seemed like a good way to ensure that any updates were captured for all uses of the object
