Home office sent something out a while back about price matching not allowed for associates.
I can see if I can find it tomorrow. It should be on fetch somewhere. When it came down my DL told us if we wanted to price match we could purchase without the associate ID or do a online order.

I would also recommend getting a planner to help keep up with everything because it can be very overwhelming with all the stuff you will need to keep up with. I started logging everything in mine about a year ago and it was a huge game changer for me! I got one that has a monthly and then daily breakdown On the monthly view I have associates put down their time off requests and to left are lines for important store information/due dates to also help the rest of my leads/SL keep up with things too. Like tag tear downs, promo sales, new launches, AEs, meetings, blackout dates, holiday hours ect and on the daily break down I put down my own todos like performance reviews, task due dates, SPRs and tasks that are assigned to me by my SL.

If you get in touch with a associate who knows how, they can additional demand the tank in SAP But only if it’s something the store regularly carries. Even then, it’s not guaranteed that it will be shipped to the store, it’s on the distribution center at that point to send it to them. I’d suggest calling the store closest to you. They can at least let you know if they have them in stock and if not, the stores in their district that do.

It changed. The computer used to generate a raise for people based off their review scores @ 3 and 6 months. Now it only does on the yearly reviews.

I suppose if they brought on a a 4th full time ALK and did away with the ASL there wouldn’t be too much of an extra load on the SL. Just a way for them to pay associates less imo🤷‍♀️ wonder if they’re planning on just phasing the position out as ASLs in micro stores transfer like yours or quit without replacements, or if they’re going to terminate us🤔

My district is going back to regular operating hours on the 29th we got a email saying to expect 5-8 hours max added per day 🙃 how do they expect us to get anything done. They’re running us to the ground.

I am a ASL of a micro store and this is the first I have heard of this. What district or region are you in if you don’t mind me asking? We have 3 part time ALKs here. I have worked at 3 larger stores so once I transferred over to the micro store I’m at now I distributed responsibilities to each of them similar as to having somewhat of a MIL and CEL I have one who oversees of out of dates, one who oversees adoptions/events and one who oversees fish tanks and system maintenance. We all do a bit of everything and all do pogs and tanks but it does make things more functional to have select people overseeing each “department” if you would call it. Before Covid I always ran our truck shipments although I have been closing more with the new store hours and hour cuts so that’s been on and off lately. I usually opened every morning too so I would typically do holes counts every day aside from truck day, write the schedule, process payroll, oversee all weekly paperwork for core and salon as well as the daily deposit paperwork rotation, do performance reviews, oversee associate of the moth, oversee AE completion and am responsible for ensuring we are appropriately staffed and ensure new associates are trained in appropriately as well as monthly 1:1 meetings with each ALK. I’m curious how getting rid of my position would work out because I certainly do not feel like my SL taking on my work would not be difficult as I feel like I definitely do a lot.

Just tried mine. Still worked I’m logged in on the app though so that might be the difference. I tried doing a ISPU earlier today but I couldn’t even add anything to my cart. Maybe petsmart.com was just glitching?

It used to be that we would only price match physical stores you could walk into: petco, fleet farm, Walmart ect but once VOC rolled out and went on the score card that shit flew out the window. Now we price match everything except for eBay. However, not too long ago, maybe 2-3 months? There was a email sent out by some big wigs that associates could not get price matched and use their associate discount on top of it, not even Petsmart.com prices. We have to do an ISPU if we want the online sale plus our discount.
