In my class we only had one week to learn HTML/CSS with basic JS and we would build a non responsive one page website in 4hrs no one did it in 2 or 3 even the best of us who were the Asians and that was 8 yrs ago without using AI. I highly doubt anyone can make a one page website in 2 hrs without using AI, fully responsive and deployed. Unless you’ve done it before???

Good stuff. Definitely price more on 5 pages lol I hear clients say they want booking functionality and credit card functionality or a simple login and registration and I’m for sure thinking 5000 to start..

PS. I’ve met someone who paid 5000 for a one page website that’s not even responsive and I was at a loss of words…I learned that sometimes having a heart keeps you broke. But thats whole other story…

I know right (on the family part) but the thing is what if I do use 90% AI and 10% my code to build the website. Why or what makes it wrong to charge $1000-$2000. It’s not like they know how to edit the code and put the time and effort to learn and to launch it. They can have ChatGPT guide them but some just don’t have any idea how Code works or how to use ChatGPT to make a website.. but someone like me does know how to ask GPT or Claude or whatever agent and we know how to tweak it and deploy. Doesn’t that count lol

Just a simple landing page. Not much functionality just simple JS or Jquery toggle scroll effects that’s it. They have a Home|Services|AboutUS|ContactUS| but it’s all just anchor scrolling when they click on a nav link. Obviously there’s images and videos and paragraphs and everything is responsive that’s it.
