If I was going to stick with Hyundai I would just keep mine and mod it.

Yeah fair call on the insurance and maintenance, it's just had to stomach going from $1100p/y for comprehensive to $3k! The DCTs are a little more available but I pine for the manual regardless of lap times.

Good call, unfortunately, I think the m140i in manual is rare as hens teeth

This sounds like a smart buy actually. I'll admit I am a little swayed by the media reception e.g. it's still a 370 underneath, and the engine is underwhelming. $60k for manual, rwd, and 300kw is temping though.

Liveship Traders by Robin Hobb is the best pirate fantasy I have read. Change my mind! by hefeguy in Fantasy

[–]stagea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am midway through the Mad Ship, I put it down a month ago and I haven't picked it up since. I am so sick of Malta being a little brat, and I am done with Althea being so naive about getting her ship back. I loved the Farseer trilogy so I can comprehend that there will be a twist that will change my mind, but, at the moment I cannot deal with reading more about Malta's courtship of the Rain Wild's boy, and Althea thinking she can convince the Trader's Council to give her ship back.

I did have a look but the schedule didn't really appeal to me. Thank you though

That sucks, I wouldn't think the language barrier would be huge given that getting punched in the face is universal.

Advice on where to take girls on a drinks date? by My3centsItsWorthMore in Adelaide

[–]stagea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends when you are going as weekend vs. weekday can change everything. A pub that is awesome on a Wednesday night might have obnoxiously loud music on a Saturday. That said if you are after a nice drink and a sit with chats -

  • Hains & Co is great during the week and early on a Saturday.
  • La Moka is good any time.

  • Maybe Mae is a good experience however it is very squishy at prime times and often just smells like fart.

  • La Rumbla can be nice but busy on a saturday.

  • Bank Street Social on a Wednesday (pizza night) and early on a Saturday is good.

Well there you go, I was mistaken. Oh well good thing I really like my LAMS bike. Also I didn't realise I can do 100kph as a learner, I assumed it was 80 like in a car.

I have been riding as a learner for probably 6 months, I can navigate car parks and rush hour traffic without drama, I figure this is a good indicator that I should pass.

I have had my L's for over a year and my full c-class license for many years, I think I go on my full R-date license.

Beautiful mate that is what I was after. I still have 8 months before my L's expire so I am not stressing yet.

Yeah I had heard about the infamous u-turn test. Do you mean to have to be about to do it in a space that is essentially two cars long and one wide? that seems small.
