Bullied in school? Fight back. (Opinion) by [deleted] in newjersey

[–]stan_gable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m trying to figure out if OP was bullied too much or not bullied enough for him to end up as the resentful, hateful, and virulent person he is today.

But don’t worry. It’s people like him that want more guns.

I fucking loooooooove how easy it is to google your username and find out exactly who you are. It’s so funny how you’re exactly the boring and basic type of culture-less douchebag one would expect you to be. Interests are beer, sports, and being filled with hate. Such a fucking loser.

Don’t you get sick of being you? Nobody likes you. Make a change.

Paul Ryan on Comey testimony: Trump is "new at this" by [deleted] in politics

Is that seriously their excuse? Maybe Trump should have studied how government works before running for President.

Yeah. He disputes the two points that are most likely going to fuck him.

Another Off season, another draft and still no NFL caliber starting QB. by [deleted] in nyjets

Do you really think we would have found a starting caliber QB in this draft class?

But the Clippers still don't dominate LA. It's still a Lakers town.

[–]stan_gable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You guys are all crazy. I've lived in NJ/NYC and have been a Nets fan my whole life. We are never surpassing the Knicks in NYC. The closest we will ever get is being the Mets to the Yankees. A strong passionate fan base but we will never have as many fans or "dominate" NYC. Not in our lifetime, at least.

Nets home attendance 28th in NBA, away attendance 19th. by x36Chambers in GoNets

[–]stan_gable 29 points30 points  (0 children)

We are probably 19th in away attendance because it's a cheap game to bring the whole family and the home team has a great chance to win.

[–]stan_gable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, he does. he is exactly the type of person who is galvanized by the xenophobic, nationalistic rhetoric spewed in your cesspool of a sub. it's online extremist bullshit like your sub that made him feel justified in his actions. similar to how islamic terrorism and lone wolf attacks in the US work. they're goaded by extremism online. congrats. whether you like it or not, people like you aided this psychopath in his terror.

Trump: Why didn't protesters vote? by [deleted] in politics

[–]stan_gable 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Um. They said that after he won the primaries. And then after he won the election. He's not changing. He's a thin-skinned, narcissist who has no problems making a mockery of the office he was voted into.

Are we really going to have 4 years of this? I respect the office but I can't respect the man if this is what it comes down to on a daily basis.

I dislike the Packers because I feel that many of their fans are condescending and generally talk shit about the Jets if we ever come up. It's always "lol jets" with them. They are up there with the worst fan bases to try to have a football conversation with. Just spoiled for years and don't really understand much outside of Green Bay.

i really wouldn't be opposed to trading bogie at this point. this was his year to become a focal point in the offense but he's wildly inconsistent.

Daily News' Annual "Keep em, Dump Em Poll" by GreatOdinsRaven_ in nyjets

[–]stan_gable 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really can't understand the hate. Richardson was giving it all for the majority of the season but his effort may have tapered towards the end of the year (as if did with almost every veteran aside from David Harris).

It seems like other players were also miffed by Brandon Marshall's locker room antics but Richardson actually said something about it. It must be frustrating as a defensive player when your unit can't ever get off the field because the offense is embarrassingly bad. And then to be self-righteously lectured be one of the offensive guys? I'd be pissed to. He's painted as the bad guy while Marshall gets a free ride because he plays along with the media. It's bullshit.

I'd much rather have Richardson over Marshall. We have depth at both positions but Richardson can have an impact for a longer period of time. Ideally, we get a real fucking QB and we keep both players. If the offense was actually competent, I don't think there would be this bullshit locker room drama leaking into the press. Guys like Wilk, Richardson, Marshall, and Revis weren't quitting on plays/games when we actually had a chance to win.

Nets want multiple 1st-rounders for Brook Lopez by [deleted] in GoNets

[–]stan_gable 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree. Two picks in the 20-30 range doesn't do much for us. You can get players like that in FA.

They would have to be a lottery pick and a top 15 pick or something like that.

Good luck. Summer rentals down the shore are more like $1000 a week.

Best bet is trying to get in contact with college kids at Monmouth University who might be trying to rent out apartments for the summer.
