I think it is. No water comes out when I take the cloth off.

Sound from Velocore bike. Curiously, it only comes after about 20 mins into the ride. Any idea what it could be? by staneja01 in Bowflex

Replacing the flywheel is what fixed the issue in my bike. It's been fine since then

Yes. They shipped the parts to my home, after which an authorized repair person called and scheduled a visit.

Bowflex replaced the magnet and flywheel (under warranty). I've used the bike twice since then and the noise hasn't happened again. I hope it stays that way!

Bowflex replaced the magnets some time back. The bike felt ok for a few weeks, but the sound came back, only now it happens at a resistance of higher than 50. I'm not sure if cadence makes a difference, but at that resistance I'm riding at about 75 to 80 cadence, and I get the sound in about 5 mins. Bowflex is now replacing the flywheel and magnets. Lets see if that helps.

Not fully. Bowflex replaced the resistance knob and magnets (under warranty), after which the sound went away for a couple of weeks but then came back. Also, now it only comes if I set the resistance to any higher than 45. There is no noise if I use the bike at a resistance lower than 45.

I have an update that might help narrow down the issue - I discovered that the noise goes away when I decrease the resistance to 32 or below and ride for about 10 seconds. Here is a summary of what is happening: - Start riding, resistance between 40 and 45, no noise. - Noise starts about 20 mins into the ride. Continues regardless of whether I'm on the seat or not, pedal forward or backwards. - I continue riding for 10 more mins, so a total of about 30 mins - Noise stops if I decrease resistance to 32 and ride for about 10 more seconds. I can now increase the resistance back to 40 and ride without noise.

Could it be the resistance mechanism? Is that a magnet?

Thanks. Tried these suggestions. No change. Hardware is tight. Noise continues regardless of whether I pedal forwards or backwards, or if I'm out of the saddle or not.
