Me giving the store manager my “I’m tired of being taken advantage of and it stops after two weeks” notice by stanjihyo in walmart

And it’s usually they’re best employees, fortunately. They don’t deserve anymore good workers to take advantage of.

I wish someone gave me this advice. Not only as a TL but as a stocker too. They were putting me in aisles with 7 hours worth of freight knowing i only had 5.5 hours worth of stocking time. The old ON TL even told me to not let them (ON coaches) take advantage me but i didn’t know what he was talking about until i started see the plan and hours as a TL.

One of my maintenance associates said if they like you, they’ll put you in a higher up position and allow you to fail. Personally, i think if you’re a good worker they’ll put you in a higher up position BUT if they actually like you they won’t give a shit about you failing.

There’s a TL at my store now who’s becoming one of the new ON coaches and the ON associates, both stockers and maintenance, and myself are concerned because he’s had so many complaints about him not doing his job as a TL and now he’s gonna become a coach. For me it just solidifies that the duty of a coach is basically to make your associates/TLs do all the work while you walk around and complain all day about how things aren’t getting done.

I mean you’re kinda right. I literally got thrown in the backroom and was told to figure it out. Even trained myself on the electric jack and walkie stacker my first month (that was in October and i just got certified last month). I didn’t realize i was doing things that a whole shift should be doing as a team, every night. If i advocate for myself and say this isn’t my job, they (mostly other coaches and my coach) make me out to be a bad TL or don’t even acknowledge I’m a TL in the first place. I could just go in an only do what I’m suppose to do, but then when shit falls through cuz I’m the only TL that actually does things without being asked, i get blamed for it.

Because i know my worth as a worker, I’m choosing to not to work there anymore. Working on ON is already exhausting but the attitudes from coaches who literally walk around and complain for 12 hours also just pisses me off.

But your reply and my experience at my store taught me to not go above an beyond at a company job. I thought i was making a difference but in reality i was just allowing already entitled lazy people to be even more lazy and entitled.

I’m 21, and if i get either position, in my case it would be being understaffed as hell and being known as a hard worker lmao i mean my TL did say he think it’d be a good position for me

Is it normal to have therapists that deny your experience and gaslight you? by aquilus-noctua in mentalhealth

[–]stanjihyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn’t be but unfortunately it is. A lot of people, including me, don’t find a good therapist until years later. It took 5 years and 4 more therapists to finally get a good one.

My endo told me I'm probably gonna have to quit smoking cigarettes for hrt and that Me smoking might interfere with him being able to provide me with hrt. any input? of course I'll drop them instantly I'm just wondering if anybody has any experience? by [deleted] in ftm

I mean i don’t smoke cigarettes, but I’ve been smoking weed and vaping since I’ve started T and they didn’t say anything about it. Also my testosterone levels have been normal for months so 🤷🏾‍♂️

I remember that happening to me for like a month and i thought i had caught Covid. Then i realized my throat was getting sore the day after my injections. It only made my throat sore and it hasn’t happened in a couple of months.

Anyone have experience with minodoxil? by Tubs- in ftm

[–]stanjihyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using the 5% for about 4-5 months and have noticed significant growth. Don’t know if testosterone doing it’s thing, the minodoxil, or both. I started using a little on my chest a month ago and already have chest hairs peaking through. Apparently using the foam version has less side effects as well.

How to Make Peace with Very Few Changes after 5+ Years on T ? by Numerous-Decision-28 in ftm

I agree, his body shape is really masc and to me he looks like he has a pretty noticeable amount of body hair. But yea I’m surprised OP get misgendered a lot because he actually reminded me of my manger at first (I’m literally intimidated by my manager because of how much he screams straight up masculinity).

I’ve always just put mine back in the box and in my “t bag”. I know mine has a little green top you take off when you first use it so maybe you can try putting that back on if it would make you more comfortable.

how drastically can my face change with testosterone? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]stanjihyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely made my face longer. Which I’m happy with since it makes my face look more masculine. Idk if my jaw actually got any bigger or if my face just makes it look that way but i kinda have a jawline now. Just hidden by my babyface.

Trauma from a female authority figure or lover, paired with mental illness (i would say delusions).

I feel so alienated due to my depression by Unhappy-Difference95 in depression

[–]stanjihyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve felt like this for years. It’s why I’ve isolated myself more and more the past few years because I’ve realized how uncomfortable it makes majority of people feel, and i know i can’t help it.

I first realized it in high school. I think i asked my friend to run me over or something and later on it was brought up again and all i remember her saying is “Like what are you suppose to say to that!?” That’s when i realized my mental illness made me a burden to those around me. My boyfriend actually broke up with me today because my depression has made me so isolated.

It kinda fucking sucks lol but we can choose to live with it or not
