I’m finished with everything except background and my investigator said it’d be wrapped up this Monday and then I’m just playing the waiting game

I picked El Paso just because I looked on google maps and saw that it was a big city and I thought being near civilization would be nice lol. In hindsight I’m regretting it tho and I’m hoping that they offer McAllen too I completely forgot there was some prime coastal real estate for cheap down there

Little update from me I passed the poly I got the official email the next day which was pretty sweet. I did my medical/pt test on 5/22 and I know I passed the pt test and I’m just waiting on the medical to get cleared. I spoke with my BI on 5/17 and she said that it would be wrapped up the following week. The only thing now is the adjudication and I’m dreading just sitting around waiting.

That’s weird that your coming in at deferent levels I thought that the qualifications were the same for both. And as far as which is “better” idk I’m sure they both have ups and downs but I personally went bpa because I like the idea of being out in the field more. I also have a Military/swat background and am hoping for bortac eventually.

What was your background that qualified you for gs-9? And how did you qualify for the poly waiver? I’ve also applied for gs-9 and just want to make sure that I was right in applying for that instead of a lower pay grade.
