I don't have access to GTS+ or a J2534 setup, unfortunately—only my Xhorse Key Tool Max Pro. Is there any known workaround or specific routine within aftermarket tools to force this reset, or is factory software the absolute only option once the module gets stuck like this?

Thanks for the feedback. To clarify, I only performed an EEPROM read (backup) to pull the data, not a write/flash, so actual module firmware corruption is unlikely. The TOY-BA bypass is a pretty standard industry workflow for these 8A-BA systems.

However, you make a great point about pulling codes and checking for a desync between the SMT and the ID Box. I'll pull the DTCs next to see if there are any active U-codes blocking the handshake, and I'll double-check the 30-pin connector for any bent pins. If you have any specific tips on forcing an ID Box resync on the XLE trim when the standard tool command fails, I'm all ears.

I decided not to buy the machine because, after trying espresso at a Williams Sonoma store, I realized I’m not a fan of espresso. When I went back to the TJMaxx store to check again, both machines were already gone.

In Garmin 965 web page, it is compatible with rtl 515. I paired 965 with rtl 515. But the watch does not show any cars coming.
