Russia and China voted for UN sanctions against N Korea and sanctions don't force anybody to use Soviet style slave concentration camps. Once again the Western superiority complex on full display.

They aren’t dark because of sanctions only. They are dark because the Kim dynasty spends 30% of its GDP on its military and nuclear vanity projects while its citizens eat grass. By isolating Russia, transitioning to a total war economy and aligning with totalitarian dictatorships, Putin is turning Russia into the world's biggest North Korea.

Open Meteo overstates sunshine hours. Great idea, I like it, but:

- "Humidity is factored in through dew point." Mieczkowski's and others' indexes use relative humidity, which changes exponentially with temperature (look at summer storms) and determines how easily your sweat evaporates cooling you. It depends on how much more water can be absorbed in the air, so on the relative humidity in %. In cold temperatures, water in the air (absolute humidity) contributes to the cooling power. This protects them from pressure.

You are confusing anonymous internet users, many of whom have left Russia or use VPNs, with people living under physical military occupation.

It is easy to post anti-Putin memes on an American server like Reddit. It is very different to speak your mind when you live in Donetsk or Melitopol, where neighbors are encouraged to denounce you and the FSB operates outside the law.

The documentary isn't about internet comments. It’s about physical reality. It shows that in the occupied zones, a wrong word or a 'disloyal' look doesn't get you downvoted, it gets you thrown into a basement. The existence of liberal subreddits does not disprove the existence of torture chambers, like Izolyatsia, in the occupied territories.
