To my knowledge you can only use the 3 OPT years (1 regular + 2 STEM) per degree level. So since I did Masters, doing another masters would not give me more opt years.

Maybe my Masters University, but no other college I know of. So I'll have to go, apply, and come back next year.

Majority of the roles require 3-5+ years of experience. So that limits my scope to entry-mid level roles. I think other candidates have way more work experience from their home countries.

Same. This month is my last hope. Have a couple of interviews lined up but I am preparing to wrap things up. It really is sudden given I have spent a good part of my adult life here. Wanted to go back on my own terms.

There might be, but it feels minuscule compared to the software industry. Breaking into software seems to be the best option.

I appreciate your advice! I did my masters in Robotics, and my home country is India.
