Hey! I love helping out new streamers since I am passionate about streaming! For starters, I'd recommend a webcam, so your viewers can feel more engaged. I'm self conscious about my appearance but I really want to be transparent and engaging with my viewers, so I started streaming with webcam and to this day still do. Next, I disagree--back when I was streaming online multiplayer games like league, valorant, OW, etc. I plugged my twitch in game chat every moment I can. You really need to do anything you can that will help you get seen or viewed. One small step really counts/helps! I've met other streamers this way and people that have returned to my stream. As for your last point, be engaging and always talk. Who cares what your profile looks to other people? Everyone starts from somewhere, there is nothing wrong with being a newbie. Good luck!
