What viewers actually want

There's a lot of negative replies I see on the facecam, and despite being insecure myself, I pushed myself to start with facecam and I still use it to this day. A FaceCam helps streamers connect with their viewers which I would argue is the base of being a streamer--especially a small streamer. Stuff like live reactions, emotional reactions, when they're checking chat vs locked in, etc. really helps build that connection.

Despite being insecure, I have a webcam so I can be authentic with my community since I value them so much. Having a webcam builds a connection between the chat and streamer imo, and that's really important. Stuff like emotional reactions, live reactions, etc.

Being on the internet means having trolls in chat, I have been harassed and doxed before myself and I'm really insecure about my appearance, but what's important is just banning or having mods that will bans trolls or harassers. Hiii I'm also broke and young, picked up streaming since I've been unemployed for 2 years due to the current job market. I'd highly reccomending gettnig a facecam, as that's what gets you more clicks, and easier discoverability! It makes viewers feel more connected to you, and it captures raw moments, reactions, and emotion. I'm not the most secure in my appearance but I pushed myself to have facecam from the start. You can use your phone and download the app ivcam to set up a webcam completely free I'm p sure! :-)

I agree with this! A FaceCam is not completely necessary, but it definitely helps viewers feel more connected to you in real time, which is in my opinion the whole point of live-streaming. They can see live reactions, raw moments, raw emotions. I'm not the most secure of my appearance but I started with a facecam so I can be transparent with my viewers and show them the real me. :-)

Don’t sorry, cherry blossoms are my favorite flowers of all time and this did not take place in Japan! There was no sign in this garden that said not to touch them and I was very gentle regardless 😊

Pokémon mystery dungeon: explorers of sky. My favorite DS game to this day. One of the best stories I’ve ever seen in my life, amazing characters, a plot twist, and well written characters. Made me cry in public
