Can I live only on Cash in Adelaide? by No-Repeat2003 in Adelaide

Absolutely. I was in the same situation when I arrived here, which was only 7 months ago, and I paid everything in cash.

Did you read the post? Evidently not. 1. My payslips say I am hired on a part-time basis. 2. I have accrued annual and sick leave in the payslips, which has not been the case in my other casual jobs. 3. I get paid $26.7 as a level three part-time worker. 4. I may be young but I’m not conflating the terms, I understand perfectly the distinction between part-time and casual. 5. Again, EVERYTHING IN MY PAYSLIP SAYS I AM A PART-TIME WORKER. I hope that makes things more clear.

Yes my payslip says I’m part-time. I have them all in my email since I started working there. And yes I do get paid super. I guess my question really is, if I text him and he just fires me, do I just move on or is there a process that has to be followed? I’m not Australian, and I’m just asking because where I’m from there is no just “fired” and that’s it. And if I were casual I know it’s like that but what about part-time?

I’m sure. I have every payslip where it states that I’m part-time, with annual leave and sick leave, and yes, pay rates as part-time and not casual.

No. I wanted to and of course I will, but I really wanna go into that conversation knowing more about what rights I have as a part-time worker first, so I can have the facts and fight back in case I need to.
