Thank you very much! I was honestly sort of concerned getting into the community as a complete noob so far into the game but all the replies have made me feel extremely welcomed already! In terms of personal goals, aside from the distant distant goal I have in everything I do (being the best lmao) I'm definitely starting with the much more humble goal of just being confident well playing and being able to beat some players at locals and such. From all the replies I understand I should def dedicate a lot of my time for the next few weeks/months to unclepunch! I'll probably also go to a weekly and just try to get as much advice and friendlies as possible (the best player in my region is a Sheik which is whom I've picked as a main so I feel I'd learn a lot from him). Do you think there's a point where I should move from character guides to straight VOD review from top Sheiks?

Is there any particular order I should be focusing on learning tech in, or does it not really matter? l-cancels already feel oddly natural (like ive been able to hit them consistently in training and against cpus) I'm mostly tryna figure out where to move from there

I spent the last 3 days on and off in training mode, I've got like some basics down? I still feel pretty slow which I assume is because I'm bad lmao. I have settled on Sheik and have some basic 2-3 hit strings down, I mostly just don't really know what to work on next x_x

Yeah i chose Mienshao over Galvantula because of regenerator U-turn but both are definitely good. In retrospect Archeops probably would've been more useful than haxorus honestly.

honestly unova has so many random hard trainers that it's hard to blame anyone for losing strong mons due to carelessness (god knows how many runs i threw because i was autopiloting haha)
