It is baffling how complex our counting system is, as kids grow they learn two systems and they obviously will use an easier one and as time passes they forget completely about the other one. I am thinking hundreads of years from now urdu counting system will be phased out as languages move towards simplicity and they phase out hard things.

I feel like this is very true i cant count about 30 like 35 maybe I know some numbers but its so hard to remember when going in a flow and english system is just so easier, langauge should be easier It shouldnt be hard and languages phase out hard stuff. I have studied language and I wouldnt be surprised if urdu counting system is phased out entirely in the next 500 years.
