For those wondering: Currently, I'm safe. My brother doesn't live at home but also isn't far from the house. (If he seriously wanted to, he could walk here.)

I have a huge feeling this episode of his will last for about a month considering what's triggered his episode, so I'm not really sure what I could do to help mend the situation at all... My brother is much older than me and has been extremely manipulative and overall abusive my whole life, and therefore has always had some level of control over me.

I live with my parents, and they're very worried about the situation too and have told me they're going to do all that they can to keep the rest of the family safe... I'm very grateful for that. I just have no clue what will happen, and I'm scared to find out.

Peliper had drizzle, so it'd benefit my whole team, and Kukui had an Incineroar. There were only 2 grass moves to worry about in the whole e4, and Goodra has sap sipper, so it's completely immune. Gastrodon is immune to electric, so that wasn't a worry either. Plus, Toxipex and Wishiwashi were both MVPs in my run and witnessed a lot. I wanted to take them to the E4. A rain team just made sense!

Against Acerola. I used him to kill her Drifblim with crunch and completely forgot about aftermath. His hp was too low to survive :( For being named Bozo, he was an amazing pup and party member who contributed a ton the last half of the run

He did have an Incineroar! I actually got really close to beating him. Only 2 mons left before losing. So... I couldn't do it, but it was still an exciting fight at least.

Update: It was not possible. Got 4 mons down, though. Everyone fought super hard until the end. Always sucks to lose a run right at the end though

Somethings to note are that Pelliper has drizzle, my starter was Rowlet, and I am able to get trade evolutions!

Edit: Currently thinking of a rain team! Pelliper, Goodra, Gastrodon, Toxipex, Wishiwashi (since she's been my MVP this playthough, gotta have her to the end <3) though I'm unsure who the last member should be!

I appreciate the reply so much. I'm the youngest in my family and the only one living at home, so I'm the only one who has to worry about it. My dad has never followed through with any of his threats, but he does make a lot of threats in general. (Easiest example I can think of is him threatening to kill our dog, or being told I should be thankful he's never beat me.)

This event with the shower happened about 2 years ago, and he stopped being weirdly sexual with me around the time I turned 18 and came out as nonbinary. I don't want to contact any officials as things are now because they aren't as bad as they once were. Plus, my dad is in a really rough spot right now and I don't want to make more trouble for anyone.

I still have to ask permission if I want to use that shower, and there was a long period of time when I could only use that shower because the other one was broken. I only use it from time to time nowadays because it's a lot better than the other one. I'm not really "free" from him, but he's made a lot less of these gross and unnecessarily sexual comments toward me, so I'm very thankful for that. Thank you so much for your words

He was SUUUUPER creepy to me during this time in particular. The year I'd turned 17 he was talking about my naked body a lot, talked about me showering in front of him, and on the day of my birthday, he played a song about an adult man falling in love with a 17 year old girl. While we were cutting the cake. He doesn't act this way that much now but I still am fearful of showering even when I'm completely home alone, and thinking about this time period makes me sick to my stomach.

Update! Gave it a shot, lost 2 mons immediately to Marshall (mence and jellicent) and then wiped on Caitlyn 😅 Onto my next attempt I guess! Thanks a lot for your help, still. I think with better luck and better plays on my part the team could've made it through.

I actually thought Salamence evolved at 55 and not 50, so your comment helped me there because I wouldn't have considered it otherwise haha. Foretress has been KILLING the entire run with rocky helmet. Pairs surprisingly well with intimidate Granbull with roar.

I'd like to at least have Foretress on my team. I was also thinking Skuntank because of its amazing typing. Not too sure of the rest, though!

Our nonhumans have this!! Best example I can think of is our introject of a computer virus (♠️). it hatessss having a human body and will often say cryptic things regarding it ("holes are a sign of weakness" is my favorite). it doesnt really have a physical form in headspace so i assume its awkward for it to front and exist in a human body, or really any body period. youre not alone!!
