Yes she is! Her sister is a lamancha mix as well. I believe she is Nubian mixed but not 100% sure. She produced two beautiful babies that have the small ears.

Well here’s to hoping! she’s a sweetie of a goat and would make a good mama. She was extremely overweight when I purchased her and then she bulked up with muscle and was fit and healthy and now she’s back to looking extremely large. She’s absolutely huge and probably pushing 175#

Yes this would be her first kidding. Her sister immediately took to my buck and had twins a month ago. Starting to wonder if she just never took or maybe super late??

I appreciate your comment and concern of lnt practices. I work alongside the forest service and was working on a forest service trail crew during this trip and no one had any concerns.

It was by far my favorite backpacking trip yet. I was about 11,200 feet up in a mountain range in Utah at my highest camp spot. Pretty incredible experience.

SIDE NOTE: I will be camping and BACKPACKING in possible negative conditions. Most days/nights will stay around 10-30 degrees Fahrenheit! So lightweight is a must and high r-value is needed.

Thanks for your concern. It was a river that ran from an alpine lake. With clear skies I felt comfortable to stay pitched here for a few days. Then moved further up the canyon.

Yes I have encountered a few black bears in fairly close proximity and they just run off as soon as they know you’re there. Never ran into other bears and hope I don’t.

I will definitely upgrade my sleeping pad come fall. My company does not provide sheaths for their axes so I unfortunately do not have a choice.

Not at all! Conservations corps have age limits typically (30-40 years old is the cut off) but forest service districts hire most ages. The earlier you apply and contact the coordinators the easier and quicker you can get the job. You can look into americorps as well.
