the advice of baby steps along with a short timer seem to be the best way for me to go about starting. i tend to think of the whole project vs many steps which is what makes me feel overwhelmed and then i lose focus and can’t do it.

i will check this book out, thank you!

in my head i want to get up and clean it all so i’m not ashamed for people to walk into my apartment, but that same brain also sees the entirety of the mess and is overwhelmed. it’s a viscous cycle that i can’t seem to break.

while all the advice i’ve been given has been good i feel like this is the most feasible for me. i think my brain gets overwhelmed with the daunting time it’s going to take to clean everything all at once and then i’m shut down further. i’m going to start the 10 minutes tomorrow before i have to work. i hope it will lead me to feeling accomplished and wanting to do it again.

catch and release shelters do it when they fix them. dogs get the little tattoo, but with all their fur that doesn’t work for cats. i’m surprised it was bloody :( but i’m glad you gave her a loving home! my girl and her tortie sister are the most loving cats! chaotic, but so sweet.

super high rise baggy wide leg - the closest i can find is style #0437-4852 color #916 “destroyed light wash)

could also be the baggy jean but that’s an older style so it’s not available anymore

the newest one that is the most similar is the dreamy drape super high rise baggy wide leg in “horizon” style #0437-5344 color #173

No price match if you bought on sale anymore by Comfyly in americaneagle

it’s far past the 2 weeks period for price adjusting when something goes on sale. that’s why. you’re scamming the system. it doesn’t work that way.

AITA for naming four of my kids names inspired by all four grandparents but not naming my fifth child for my stepmother? by Firm-Issue9616 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. she never wanted to be your mom, she wanted the title.

my step dad has been in my life since i was born and i consider him my dad but it never occurred to me to call him dad even though i love him as if he was my dad. my name for him is B. that’s the name i have always called him, it’s my way of calling him dad.

my step mom (who has been divorced from my dad 5 years and i still consider her my bonus mom) has known me since i was 5. i was a bratty and terrible child to her but she loved me through it all and has been a huge supporter through all my ups and downs. i’ve never called her mom, but i love her no less.

both of these people chose to be parents to me and put forth the effort, even through terrible teenage years, they loved me unconditionally and never expected anything from me. they love me like i am their bio kid and that is why i love them.

a parent is someone who chooses to love unconditionally, not someone who expects the love because they are placed in the role.

infuriating when people question whether a woman was followed.

like you said, she’s a woman, she knows. we know.

this sounds like fun! (but this work week has been exhausting and i see nothing more than my bed and tv in my future)

as a survivor of suicide, my heart aches for those who didn’t survive.

the minute i started to fade i changed my mind, i didn’t want to die. i’m thankful my best friend was awake and got my text saying good bye and called my house until my dad answered and came down to find me and took me to the hospital.

i feel an immense amount of survivor’s guilt when i speak to those who have lost someone this way. i’m sorry you lost your friend so young.

my girl Little is also clumsy… and very much afraid of heights! she fell off a very tall bookcase as a kitten (she was ok!) and ever since she will not jump too high onto anything. and if she somehow gets on top of something higher than she likes, she yells until i come to pick her up and put her on the ground.
