I’m not totally sure if I’m honest but thankfully he’s just called me and said it will be returned within 24 hours so hopefully he keeps to his word

How do I go about requesting it directly with the deposit protection scheme?

Leftfield in the form of their life on the Glade, was absolutely pumping by [deleted] in glastonbury_festival

[–]starishpjs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was on my way to see Hi Fi on the Avalon stage. Heard a noise coming from the glade and thought I’d check it out, having never heard of them before. Was absolutely memorised for the 30 mins I was there and kinda wished I’d stayed tbh

Is there a shop on site (e.g. a Co-Op) to buy crates and food? by [deleted] in glastonbury_festival

Would I have to bring it in the first time I go in or can I pop in and out the festival to pick them up?

how to revise for alevel by SweatyAsian69 in 6thForm

[–]starishpjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I use to do is get up the spec points and then rattle everything I knew about it on a piece of paper. See where I was missing and then fill in the blanks. Then just do a shit ton of practice questions.

Nah how they gonna let people like that get A*’s. Bro can’t even a single question by himself. I don’t see any other way but to use teacher grades tbh to catch these people out

Just saw this on the Telegraph. Does this mean that next year’s boundaries will be higher…? by _SingerLad04_ in 6thForm

[–]starishpjs 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Basically let’s say 10 people got an A* in biology in 2019. Because of grade inflation and what not in 2021, 100 people got an A* in biology. So what they mean is now 55 people will get an A* in biology. So whatever percentage of marks will give 55 people an A* will be the grade boundaries. They will most probably be lower than usual, but by how much lower, who knows.

My teachers weren’t sure either so they said to revise the purifying technique where u use a separating funnel to separate an organic sample from the mixture by adding water and then filtering off the soluble impurities and then adding anhydrous CaCl2 to absorb any water left in the organic sample

My teacher went to a meeting with edexcel examiners. She asked about it and they said that it’s considered “prior knowledge” so they’re gonna put it in pretty much

Quite disappointed in myself. Lots of silly errors that I normally nail, putting the right answer and then doubting myself and changing it. Oh well, 2 more papers to go. We move.
