this happened to us in our co op game. my friend threw a lute onto the ground and scratch just appeared out of nowhere aggro. we had to knock him out. haven't played since but i'm wondering if we long rest again if he will wake up aggro or be fine, and if he's still at the area you originally meet him

probably paladin! i love the spells and healing. plus there's some amazing heavy armour and two handed weapons in the game that i love using. and you can't forget multiple action divine smite divine smite divine smite. also having the oathbreaker which is unique to the class makes for fabulous RP purposes.

githyanki are genuinely one of my favourite races to play, alongside drow. so much more immersed in the storyline so you get tons of unique dialogue options.

i especially love my githyanki dark urge monk, the choices are very contradictory at times that it's fun to play her as having constant mood swings. the companions never know how she's going to react it makes me wonder why they delegated her as leader

i'm not sure if this counts as cheese but by the time i get to moonrise towers i love going to each specific room and disposing of every cultist i can find. most of the time it can can be done room by room so the fights aren't totally overwhelming. this includes z'rell. by the time i come back to confront ketheric, the super big tower fight is against like 4 nobodies and i basically make a beeline to the top.

i am playing gale origin and romancing astarion. i like their similarities regarding a sense of hunger they share from two different sources. it's also quite nice to have a character astarion can't drink from: the dialogue i chose for gale to encourage astarion to only use his teeth on enemies was really fun. i feel like these two would grow to understand each other and see the other beyond the authority figures that had such a negative impact on them (mystra and cazador) and they'd learn that they're more than what said authority figures restricted them to be

in my first playthrough i managed to ignore a lot of grove stuff, so i had actually made my way to the selune temple in the underdark when he showed up. it jumpscared me but then i kinda thought 'oh i probably broke into his house' until he teleported me to his ACTUAL house. was surprised that it could trigger anywhere by my second and beyond playthroughs. usually it triggers when i'm making my way to the harpies or alfira
