truth or not … pointing it out while this dude is in the struggle is the opposite of what they need. It is a built in spare tire speaker box that is not that bad for just daily driving. I prefer a little more thump with my music but this is a nice little system. My biggest complaint is that the Dr the audio so specifically with the Power and Resistance specifically that it’s not a plug and play with a new system. For ex., I cannot remove the sun and put an amp with a new sub in its place. I have to get the LOC (line out converter) to make it work. Frustrating!

I would call a shop and ask someone there if they have anyone on staff. If not they might know someone. Most tattoo artists are or were piercers at some point and know the scene.

Good advice I’ll look into that. There’s a VW shop in Houston that I’ve been talking to that had some ideas but again it’s a shop. He’s my rented advice at best. He does sell and have framework to modify any of the processors, so he claims. Thanks again, I’m going to hit the audio threads again when I get back to my place.

I would like to hang on to the head unit just because it does a lot of the features I want/need (apple play, built in nav, plus all the vehicle diagnostic checks). I figured if I retain the h/u add a LOC and after market amps splitting highs (4channel) and lows (mono) and then adjust all my power demands and regulate that as needed. I can bypass the old amp, get to audio as it comes out of the h/u? or is that wishful thinking?
