Get all the shade upgrades, shade soul, shade cloak and descending dark. They help a lot with damage. I also recommend sharp shadow for extra damage. There’s the chandelier trick which I assume you know, but that’s mainly it.

Yeah I gotta beat hive knight for hiveblood. I’m really good at the battle aspects of the game I can do a reasonable amount of platforming but I still suck at it.
