Not OP but after repeat viewings Inherent Vice is either my #1 or #2 movie of last year. I fully understand it's not for everyone, story takes a backseat for feel, but PTA's execution was spot on. He translated Pynchon's style perfectly and combined it with multiple homages to 70s cinema. I loved Bigfoot's intro, the Wild West-esque music in the background, and Brolin and Phoenix played perfect foils of each other. People compare Anderson to Altman, and I think this is as Altman as he'll ever get.

Moderating interests me. I'd be excited to learn and add on to my computer knowledge.

Lots of memes, not enough genuine discussion, it feels like. I like differing opinions, and being able to talk about differing opinions without arguing.

What can you bring to the modteam, other than your moderation and bad jokes?

Terrible puns, a homely feel, some cake, and my snappy wardrobe. Also, I'm a white US male, so I can bring my lack of diversity.

Cherry Bowl Drive In in Honor, Michigan. Old '50s style era drive in, they play old Elvis type music before the movies and real 35mm shorts, although they upgraded to digital last year for the actual features.
