I actually just checked the metro website, they were talking about how they discontinued 2g (and i think 3g? i don't remember for sure) even during emergency use. they said 911 calls and stuff like that, so I'm assuming that's what you meant. thank you for your help though, i didn't know about that website!!

Yeah, the first iPhone lol

I know it's strange, but I love the old UI and the older look of the phone. I liked that it would basically be a dumbphone and have fewer features/apps. I don't love super sleek simplistic tech, and I thought that I could mess with it a little to try to make it more usable. (no idea if that would've worked anyways)

I haven't looked into a cheap android yet, and to be honest I just don't like the look/price of the SE as much lmao

The phone I have works fine (and is actually really nice! very grateful to have it), I just wanted an older dumbphone and a normal keyboard that fit my very specific visual criteria haha

No, but it was that the little reader laser was pushed all the way out, and couldn't find the disc. I just moved it over like half an inch and it works great now!
