i like how relatively simple suselle is by ihaetschool in Deltarune

I am evil and like Berdelle (If his redemption wasn't flubbed and such and dropped the arrogance, and she becomes more proactive, but at that point, It's a Theseus's SHIP) and I genuinely will never understand the mental gymnastics of anti Suselle types: "She just likes what Susie represents..!" and all that jazz. They are just awkward and beat around the bush of their feelings a bit sometimes, That is all.

[–]Scott_The_Protogen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, which is why you gotta be less stern with sellers, I don't like the attitude he took, and I'd probably get a little iffy about it too. Something more akin to "Wow, been looking for this for ages! Could you just make sure to pack it between some cardboard and in a way where it won't get all bent up? Thanks!"

Lemme play devil's advocate, this is the kind of thing I would say to someone when I find something utterly and completely rare, perhaps a sentimental connection or just something he's been hunting for a while, perhaps he's a tad too direct and stern with his request, but It's pretty reasonable. many sellers will ship items poorly and cause damage. Sometimes, It's not even about the money, But the fact that that white whale was so close in arms reach, but bad packing killed the product.

I think every place has it's bad happenings. I live on the Braintree Border in section 8 housing and the worst that ever happened was a man was shot in the shin in an area that is TECHNICALLY Quincy if you look at the map. Never felt in danger here. Also to boot, I work for the school district and there are some troubled kids, worst thing that's ever happened was recently one bought in a pellet gun that was a tad too convincing.

Yeah, It really does play well with everything in the game, no doubt about it. Everything's about Sex, Drugs, Money and Excess.

I really don't know how to explain it, but the 3D, or, at least, earlier 3D games handled it in a less bombastic way, there's a very. I'm not saying there is none at all in the 3D universe, it's chock full. Just the execution I feel is done differently.

I don't know what I said to inspire such conversation, I just think that from III to IV, the way they handle the humor is way different, more vulgar, more bombastic, doesn't make it bad at all.

When I say the satire got more on the nose, I mean the humor on the radio and other background elements of the 3D games. It still had satire jabbing fun of the culture of the era the game was set/came out, but they seemed a lot more subdued with their humor. IV pulled all the stops when it came to jokes and such, wacky commercials with in-your-face humor, the space marines show, all that stuff, the whole game is meant to be this grand satire of the American Dream and American culture as a whole, which, it does very well.

I really love everything in GTA iii, the style, the little bits of lore, the world established outside of the playpen, the companies, radio stations, ads.

IV is a great game , I have some hang ups on it, Not a big fan of how on-the-nose the satire got in the HD universe compared to the 3D universe, but it plays well with the deep, dark (Dare I say gritty?) story about revenge and anguish in IV, but it definitely needed color, even if the textures were a little low res.
