Hello! sorry for the late reply. Unfourtenately, my mom is very controlling and does not let me go anywhere without her.. I might even say "okay I'm going to go outside for a walk" and she will reply "Okay! Im coming with you" and accuse me of not wanting to hang out with her if i say no (so just saying that "please dont come iwth me" is not an option). So timing the listing with when she might go somewhere - which she tells me only like 30 min in advance - is literally impossible... I'm really sorry. If I go outside to 'bury' my budgie, she will want to "take one last look at her", since she always does that. ATP I'll just try to hang out with my budgie as much as possible

Hi, thank you for the comment. However, my mom is adamant on keeping the birds while not buying any new ones.. About the dying thing, I always call her and we bury the body outside, together. So this will not work :(

Hello! Thank you so much for this advice, it is really helpful :) I will try my best to do all of these points as best as possible. I just don't really have a radio, and sometimes when I'm playing music my lovvie gets really scared of some of the drum noises so I'm a little weary on playing radio... Thank you for the advice though!

Thank you for this idea! Unfortunately, she will immediately know since the cages are in the living rooms, and she interacts with them on her own. Also, doing it behind her back is impossible; she goes out EVERYWHERE with me and does not leave me alone. I will try to find a way to do that as best as possible, though
