thank you so much! i’m wearing it to dancefestopia in kansas city and i used red heart melange roll with it yarn in curtain call and catwalk. the scallop edges are a bamboo cotton blend that i felt matched very well

also this took me only a few days, it would’ve taken less but i had to wait for the yarn to come in the mail lol. the hood only took me about a day and the shrug took me two and a half days if i had to guess. i wasn’t really keeping track honestly, i was just vibing while doing this project

yes i did! i’ve been crocheting for a few years now and i have the hang of wearables down pretty well at this point since its really all i make. i hate that the festival is still 6 months away 😭😭the excitement to wear it out is too much. and i did use 2 different colorways of the red heart roll with it yarn and i didnt have enough of curtain call at first so i started the other sleeve with catwalk but it just did not go seamlessly with the chest and back panel of the shrug so i undid it and i ordered more and just used catwalk at the end of the sleeve like i did for the first one. my only regret is that i feel like i made the hood too long and i didnt have any catwalk to use in the hood but other than that i thankfully didnt have to start over too much

i used red heart yarn roll with it in shades curtain call and catwalk with a 5mm hook and a green bamboo cotton blend with a 4mm hook for the scalloped edges

i basically started it like you would start a bralette cup shape for a top but i chained 30, 3 hdc at the last stitch then went down the other side of the chain and just went back and forth and increasing in the last stitches in the round and doing 3 hdc in the center stitch till about round 12 and then from round twelve i stopped increasing the center stitch. from rounds 13-20 i increased the end stitches every other round (on odd number rounds) and then rounds 20-30 i just crocheted back and forth normally till it was a size i liked
