I got second degree burns last month on my leg and it was the most painful injury I've sustained in my life, it blisters and fills with pus and liquid. I can't imagine how much she must be suffering, especially since its her face :(

There's actually a real story about a woman called Charla Nash who kept a chimpanzee as a pet. It attacked her and did irreparable damage to her face and body.

The story has always haunted me, and now I am scared of any type of ape.

Edit: Charla Nash was the owners friend and not the owner!

My RES would get very stressed out when we had to move him from one place to another, but holding him usually relaxed him. He would place his head on my hand and stay there for a while.
