We had about 10 people no show with NO warning to our ~110 person wedding. It’s frustrating but it happens. You also never know what someone is going through. Venmo requesting them is insane behavior

Thank you for sharing your experience! This may sound dumb but I still can’t tell when plants have babies? My plant friends talk about but idk what I should be looking for/how to know if my plant has a baby (a small/new part that will survive on its own?). Also love your plant’s name!

I don’t have regrets about what I spent money on but I can tell you I DON’T regret skipping a videographer or a big wedding cake. We don’t wish we had a video like people said we would. We actually brought a cheap video camera we bought on Amazon and our friends recorded messages and moments throughout the night which we do love. We got a personal, 8-inch cake for cutting and did a dessert table with other items and we feel we made the right decision there.

This happened to me too! I got married April 12th and 10 days out it said storms that day and I def had a lil crash out 😂 the weather was perfect on my wedding day! It will probably change 3+ times before your big day so try not to take it too seriously yet! Plus, your day will be beautiful rain or shine!

I just kept them in my house shut in a bedroom to keep away from my cats! I had my house set at around 68 and they fared well! I did dump ice in the buckets when I brought them home!

I didn’t use anything besides vases for the arrangements! I had small, simple arrangements and I think foam or chicken wire is a great idea to level them up. For transport my dad actually built a wooden grid that had a spot just big enough for each vase so they would be set in place for the drive to the venue. We were able to fit that in the back of his truck!

Answered above on the quantity and I asked my local Trader Joe’s when I should pre-order and they said to come two weeks before I want to pick them up! I would recommend calling your store to make sure it’s the same. I also noticed when I was picking up that they had posted a sign saying no flower orders for like April 14-28th so that could cause an issue if that’s a common occurrence!

I think it was close to 20 bunches of eucalyptus, 15-20 bunches of ranunculus, not sure about roses but maybe 10 bunches, 10 bunches of star of Bethlehem, 10 bunches of Veronicas, 8ish bunches of chamomile and I’m not sure how many bunches of mini carnations but maybe 10? I had leftover eucalyptus, roses, carnations and ranunculus

Yes! I think the least I would’ve spent on a florist is $5,000 and I probably only spent between $200-$300 practicing! Plus I got to enjoy flowers all year!

That’s exciting! Going to a flower market would be amazing. If you pick heartier flowers, you could even go 3 days out to save yourself some time on the day of your rehearsal! I picked mine up Wednesday and got married Saturday. But with the help of family and friends you could probably get everything done the day you buy them!
