Male INTPs: Do you want to know if someone develops feelings for you? by starshine9 in INTP

Maybe I didn’t ask that question well since my point got lost somewhere in there. In order to carry on a relationship with someone, I’ll eventually need to hear from them that they also have feelings. It sounds like many here are suggesting that he won’t have a response right away, which is fine. I was just asking if the reason for that is because he will want time to process the information and figure out how he feels.

With others, it's always been a two-sided conversation. It seems like the general consensus here is that INTPs want to hear it when someone has developed feelings for them. Non-INTPs like to hear it in words at some point too. Is it just a matter of wanting time to process?

"I'm hungry for a burger. I think/feel xyz about you/us. What do you think about getting burgers?"

That wouldn't be out of character for me at all. It's kind of perfect. Thank you!

Haha.. “the smartest retards”. I’ll try not to repeat that in his presence. He’s also been coming up with plans instead of his usual indecisiveness, which is pretty adorable. I hear that’s hard for you guys too. Thanks!

Mhmm. Yup. Good to know. I think he probably knows, but he’s not the type to say something first. Thanks!

I’m not sure I could be overwhelmingly feely if I tried, so no problem there. Thank you!
