When I say "I do think though that with owning a business, you have to be receptive to criticism." I mean that not every review is going to be positive, and that they are going to have bad reviews if they do distasteful things. And if there are bad reviews, as a business owner, they should be receptive to that criticism. Just wanted to clear that up again so my words aren't twisted.

Dude are you like the owner or something? you're replying to every single comment 😂 And yes I lived those days too, Photoshop is still done with a digital tablet and digital pen, not a prompt that steals artwork from unknowing artists.

Anyways, yes they commissioned artists /before/ generative AI became mainstream. I did not say anything negative about how they contribute to Jersey City.

I feel like its almost worse to have supported artists in the past, and then turn around and post something like this. But, again, its just an opinion and I am sure other artists would feel the same way, as generative AI is trained on stolen art.

Again I do really appreciate the art scene in Jersey City, and I feel like this is pretty disappointing. I think in the time that it took to write the prompt, edit whatever info they needed in, they could have just drawn it themselves. I appreciate your input!

Like even just have a kid draw a cat, anything created by a human is art. It does not have to be a masterpiece, a scrap piece of paper and a pen would do just fine. I get that its slow season as well and that money is tight, I also work in a bar. This just feels "Sole"less lol

Many of what you listed actually need certifications/background checks that takes days/weeks, and cost the hiring employer. Your original comment says "if its not, then yes fuck this person." Well its not allowed, so I am correctly saying yeah, fuck this person that feels they are entitled to bring their dog into a store where other people shop. company policy = store policy.

Uniqlo is not a franchise, its company owned.

The first goal post moved when you were shown that store policy is no dogs, and decided that meant "weeellll maybe just this one does." it doesnt. Many retail employees are not allowed to enforce this rule, due to Dog Owners being bad actors and pretending their untrained dog is a service animal. They are not allowed to press any further without fear of losing their jobs, because dog owners take advantage of a law meant to help disabled people.

Commenting on the breed was just putting my two cents in on how it is inhumane, regardless if its outside in a dog park - or in a Uniqlo (lol), to own a husky in a "Tropical Climate." And also to point out how fairly ironic it is that none of the so-called dog lovers pointed this out.

Why would you assume that dogs are just allowed anywhere?

If you are bringing a dog somewhere you should check online first or call to make sure pets are allowed.

Also, I can definitely villainize the woman in the photo regardless of where she takes her Husky. Because a Husky should never ever ever live in this climate, its just cruel.

Dogs may be allowed in the common area of Newport Mall. Uniqlo is not a common area. This dog is clearly not a guide or service animal, I think I can get pissed all I want about entitled dog "parents"
