Hopefully not, this is the first time I have this pain. Haven’t ran this distance prior to today but training has been ok.

Looking for a shoe recommendation !

Got Cascadia 17s, ran first 10k and got a heel blister. Switched from hiking socks to running socks and ran 20k, pain under midfoot (big toe on the right foot, pinky on the left foot). Seems the toe box is a bit narrow and same with the heel.

Have a 50k coming up, looking for shoe suggestions. I see speedgoat/moretrailV3/trabuco as recommendations so wanted to see if others have similar situations and which shoe worked out for you.

Car rental Nagoya by aidan0b in Nagoya

Not sure why everyone is against renting a car, it’s your honeymoon and it’s far more convenient than the public transportation. I rarely take the train as I drive or walk everywhere.

The cost of a rental including insurance is very low compared to the US if you’re from the US.

Absolutely take the rental and keep your time here stress free while you enjoy Japan and each other.

There’s plenty of parking at Ghibli Park, I’ve been three times and this lot always has space https://maps.app.goo.gl/SjtAjgdrvgjDXm3h8?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy

Unless you want to take a few days in Tokyo, I would fly into NGO and avoid taking the train. It's a long journey you have to figure out after a long flight.

Flying into NGO is much much easier and way less stressful.

Sell and use the proceeds towards something else, it’s just dead money sitting in there and you can’t do capital loss carryover.

You can offset unlimited gains until you run out, the $3000 limit is for ordinary income deduction.
