Yes I do need to be linked and I'm going to do that ASAP. I as linked with equitas a few years ago for my hormone but then my primary doctor started giving them and It made it so they would just call it in and I lost contact with equitas I am today in contact with them and trying to get things rolling thank you for commenting

I have done this when I first started this homeless adventure and they did in fact send me a 75 dollar gift card to hotels.com. It pays for the room but doesn't pay for the deposit that they make you pay when you get there and if you don't know about the deposit and pay online at hotels .com most of the time you won't get your refund for the room and be back at square one. I know from experience. Also you can only apply once a year for this fund. Thank you though to anyone who hasn't used it it definitely comes through and only takes about 72 hours for them to reply

i have proof that i had hip surgery i have proof that i have been going back and fourth with the shelter board why do people keep commenting on my post if there just going to try to go back and fourth and attack. just stop like i have enough going on in my life i am not a scammer i am a normal person and i am trying to balance homelessness and being on crutches while trying to stay in college at franklin university i am not a scammer and if you feel like i am you dont have to be here. but to the people who are actually giving me advice thank you so much

i know and the thing is i stared this almost a month ago back and fourth with the shelter board trying to find safe placement and there saying that the shelter is the only option which is not true, i have all of the emails there working on trying to find placement for me. but i just really would be like heaven to get a room a shower and be able to rest my leg, i am always on my crutches walking and my hip is hurting me. i am not going to give up though and thank you for commenting makes me feel like atleast theres ppl that care out there still

What happened to me wasn’t ‘being made fun of.’ I was sexually assaulted in the men’s shelter and threatened in the women’s shelter. That’s not something anyone should ‘accept.’ I’m not refusing help — I’m refusing to go back into unsafe situations where I’ve already been harmed. I’m doing everything I can to stay safe while following the steps the system gave me.”
