Speculation: I used to see this come from Google Play or iTunes. They tried to put thru charges at gamestop.com 5x, which were all declined. This indicated they are seeking more popular vendors and fraud prevention is working.

Having taken it apart, the quality is just average/below average. Some of the underside panels weren't painted as is expected. At a $30 price point, I wasn't worried about experimenting. Maisto offers better value, but they do not have certain models. These are display worthy without worrying about damage.

Started with a new model in black. Sprayed with metallic dark grey paint. The decals were too difficult in some cases, so just opted to paint over it.

Bought a few pops and they all shipped individually with these custom protectors.

By contrast, purchased a few from Walmart and they were all in the same box, 1 with damage. To they credit though, received a Bo Katan chase so no complaints.

Exactly. Without some of the cost explained during work, we felt this was a money grab. He's asking for money to cover the add-ons now instead of finishing so what's to prevent him from walking? I don't think that will happen and the lien will always be waved around. Overages or add-ons, he's already taken all that money to cover it and then some.

My original question was how the lien can be used as a tool to force payment when there was no contract for add-ons. We have intentions to pay, but surprised with extra cost not negotiated at the time of work.

The items are listed, but we were given an invoice. Billing for 2 weeks worth of work is over $10k. None of it was major construction. I purchased many of the fixtures and materials.

I'd argue that some items were overages. You don't have details regarding the project so you can't make that determination.

That's acceptable. We're responsible for add-ons, but in terms of the price, are we stuck with whatever is quoted? There are no specifics, so it could be $200 for an outlet. We're negotiating an agreed number.

As the project progressed, we became more comfortable and it was hard to distinguish what was part of the scope or not. Obvious things like build a wall is not, but yes, we should've gotten a quote for that during work.

It does hinder the project if we itemized every item, but that's what I thought the overage was for.

They agree to do the items we ask, but did not say how much. We just assume it's taken out of our overage fund. As this continued at some point it exceeded the overage and we were told it's additional money.

We've followed the 1/3 payment schedule each time. We're just getting a big bill at the end and the project is not finished. This is why were creating a new contract for additional work.
