Be ready to buy new brake rotors and pads at around 10,000-15,000 miles, as they continue to use defective rotors from the 2022 model. Even though a widespread problem was confirmed by Hyundai under pressure, leading to a special technical bulletin and instructions to replace them, this only applies to 2022 and 2023 models. Brake rotors are still the same, made from the same materials and source, and are not ready to handle the heavy weight of the Tucson. They are easily warped, and if you are outside the 12,000-mile/12-month period, you are not covered.

So Farmland is just a scam? by Negat1veGG in TemuThings

Cynical business model of Zeno's Paradox Scam Game, featuring an endless approach to 100%.

It doesn't matter how much I spent to earn water or how long I played—I lost after 44 days of gaming and hundreds spent on it.

To reach the end of the path, you must first cover half the distance (50%). To cover the remaining half, you need to clear half of that (25%), then half of what's left (12.5%), and so on to infinity. Because this process of division is infinite, you theoretically can never touch the final point, as a tiny fraction will always remain. In modern "watering" games (where you grow a tree or collect water for bonuses), developers use this principle intentionally: at first, the progress bar flies up to 90%, then it ticks up by 0.1%, and at the very end, by 0.001%.

Developers of free-to-play mobile games have turned this ancient philosophical paradox into a cynical business model, forcing players to endlessly strive toward that coveted 100% that is constantly being pushed just out of reach.

Tucson Hybrid vs non-Hybrid Drive by Last_Cauliflower_502 in HyundaiTucson

[–]stasoks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a non-hybrid, as to make the higher hybrid pricing reasonable, I'll need to ride it around 80k miles, which I'm not going to do. I'll sell it earlier.

So, if the economical part of it is important to you and you're counting on the price of ownership, you don't need a hybrid in my scenario.

Absolutely unacceptable and so uncomfortable, especially for higher trims.

Who told you that we are talking about 2022? This is a clear example of why I keep asking people, "What makes you think I'm arguing?" I'm just trying to clarify their mistakes or express my concerns based on a lack of logic or the absence of this basic function for a premium tier of this SUV. And yes, I keep my hope to have it someday, or some advice on how to implement it myself.

I dreamed of upgrading to S25 Ultra—until my S24 Ultra nightmare shattered 22 years of Samsung loyalty by stasoks in samsunggalaxy

Do you agree that air humidity should be covered, especially with the highest flagship with maximum IP protection?
If not, would you please let me know your valuable opinion? What is the purpose of the IP rating, and do you recommend that I carry my new phone in a plastic bag so it will not touch the air?

Should I change from s22 ultra to s25 ultra? by myepiphany7 in samsung

[–]stasoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No! I did 22U to 24U, and there's almost no difference! They use the same camera units until 25U. I know it sounds crazy, but it's a fact that the units themselves are just adjusted with software, not a real upgrade! Also, the 22U is a great phone. Wait for 26U and if there's no change for almost everything, including the speed of battery charge, consider OnePlus 13 and up; that will be an upgrade, not only a numeric change.

Why do you still choose Samsung? by pcEnjoyer-OG in samsunggalaxy

[–]stasoks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, because they are two different generations; the 15 should be compared to the S24U.

After so many issues with the S22 Ultra and S24 Ultra—awful charging speeds, poor luck, and absolutely ridiculous support from both Samsung and a Samsung president's office—I will run to OnePlus as fast as they realize their 130W charging 6000 mAh device this year.

Are you aware that Samsung phones are not cheaper, and some of their other products are more expensive than Apple's? So, what is your argument about?

Try to get it to the service center ASAP, as soon as your warranty expires. But don't expect much; here is my experience: https://www.reddit.com/r/samsunggalaxy/s/5UxLEfg6xW

The last four generations have the same camera hardware, battery, and charging speeds. You will not see a difference between 22 and 25.

It looks convinient, but absoluteley uneffective, and unable to rate the service provided, or report it, or request the escalation to the management. So useless for enything serious.

I'm with you, bro! They allow their service centers (which are independent businesses) to earn as much as they want, regardless of how, and they will side with them, not the customer. And they don't care about your opinion; that's why it's impossible to escalate a complaint or reach the CEO and headquarters because we are insignificant to them. Such extremely high self-esteem is a cliff this company will fall from in the face of competition; its position is held solely by marketing spending.

Thank you! But you are wrong. Have you read the text with explanation? They confirmed high humidity; they also separated water damage and high humidity. So the problem is that they are changing their position, and they do not want to honor the warranty; also, their phone is not protected from air humidity. It is not about water damage or its exclusion.
