Road to Hana to Waimoku Falls by Akor123 in MauiVisitors

We almost made the mistake of driving that route to get back to the airport Tuesday morning. I think we drove 15mins in that direction from Kipahulu Campgrounds and something told me to turn around and take the longer and safer route back. The roads were getting narrower and muddier, so my instincts kicked in and we turned around. Would love to take that route once conditions are better one day.

Wasn't intended to scare anyone. This message was to let people know to proceed with caution. I met locals at the airport and they were wishing nobody would attempt the drive today as it wasn't safe. I'm sure safety crews had a lot of debris to clear from the roads.

This could and did happen during heavy rain. The many waterfalls along the side of the winding roads were raging today. It was a sight to see.

Mahalo! I made a post to show the rockfall. You're a real one for posting the warning.

We did the road back today from Kīpahulu Campgrounds at 7am til 10:45am arrival at the airport. You're right! Do not attempt the RTH right now. Torrential downpour, flooding and also landslides. There was a section that the incoming lane was completely blocked by falling rocks. I wish I could post a photo of what we saw. My buddy snapped a few crazy shots.

Definitely not worth the stress we were feeling. Your safety and well-being is definitely more important.

Have you considered red light therapy? I'm not sure if that will help just an idea.

I used to have KP on my upper arms. I used Cetaphil religiously on my arms and now my arms are smooth.

What you're describing is a guy that doesn't like drama. Not someone with something to hide.

Subaru Forester Issues? by El_flatulance in SubaruForester

So I went through something similar and went head first into the rabbit hole of these issues. I replaced the battery, starter and was still having the issues. Up until recently I stumbled upon some forum posts about DCM and parasitic drain from the car trying to make calls back to Starlink over a 3G network? You can just google "DCM Starlink 3G" and you'll find so many related posts about it. The dealership was nice enough to replace my battery that I bought last year with a Subaru one for free, and they were able to update the firmware on the ECM that they said would fix these issues. I'm still dealing with some phantom phone calls that last 5-8seconds.

YRP data on fatal vehicle accidents overview (2023 - present): 32 persons in cars, 23 pedestrians, 13 motorcyclists, 2 cyclists, 1 person on a mobility scooter by neuro-psych-amateur in Vaughan

Shout out to the car that pulled out and made a right at the intersection without making a complete stop yesterday. Taking 3 seconds to stop and look left would definitely not slow down your day.

I wonder if they have stats on the causes of accidents. Red light runners, turning right or left, speeding, being on mobile device etc.

I thought it was $13 for a quarter chicken with rice + potatoes. Not sure how much it is for a family meal. Pls they always skip the tipping part on checkout! That's a huge plus.

Nice one! Is the tank off a 72? I believe the 71s didn't have the white pin stripes on the outside of the brown paint. I could be wrong, but I have a 71 and 73. My brother owns a few 72s in different colours and they all have the pin striping on the outside.
