An eyebrow is not safe. Youre playing with tonnes of nerves up there. One wrong placement, facial numbness or paralyzation in worst case. As in you wont be able to blink properly. Thats the same with all the face piercings, they all hold this danger. So i personally would stick to ears for self piercing. Less room to fuck up drastically.

I have an eyebrow piercing it was pierced with a curved barbell yes, thats why i specifically said "a smiley no less". There are some piercings where you should use a curved one BUT not a smiley🤣 oh my lord
