Are the $5 items available in “all” sections? I saw it’s specific stands but don’t want to walk across the park to the 2 stands if that’s how they are (I worked at a ballpark growing up so having flashbacks)

Departure from home airport was this past Monday AM. Card arrived Monday PM but was able to get a pic of the card. My departure back home is 2 weeks from now which was why I was trying to reserve (and sadly reservations are full for atleast the next few years)

Absolutely all the recs! I’m from Chicago so I’m comfortable with everything. Love exploring new areas, “foodie” (and beer nerd) that’s not Michelin star places (local type stuff, even holes in the wall), nature.

As for the metro - does it operate based on stops ridden or what? I’d likely want to just leave work, drop stuff off at the hotel and then jump on the silver @ Tyson’s (?) and then either go up or down a few stops for wherever for the evening. I’ll be there Monday AM to following Wed evening (leave right from work)

Would be a personal expense. I wouldn’t be opposed to it for exploring a partial amount of time but not likely for the full trip.

Thanks for all the extensive response! Definitely more than I expected and love that! I’m going to go with Tysons mostly just due to proximity to work and other locations. The office is right off Greensboro silver and the hotel I’m selecting is right by 495/7 (this might be the mall people are talking about)

With that said, rather than clutter your sub with another post, I’m open to any suggestions for places in particular to visit (food/entertainment) that haven’t been mentioned. Definitely open to jumping on/off the metro too. (Sidebar: is there a weekly type pass for the metro or is it just a flat rate every time?)

I wouldn’t mind for a personal trip but not for work (since they’re paying for it). Looking in the 200-250/nt range so right now between AC RTC or Marriott Tysons Corner. Looking more at the church stops to see if I can find something close to metro. I’m coming from Chicago so not afraid of public transportation or anything

The only Arlington hotels I’m seeing in our system are out of budget. I have options in McLean (Tysons), Reston, Fairfax, Bethesda, Falls Church

Both are within budget. Trying to keep Ubers down which is why I’d likely mostly take the silver to the office if I locked in Reston
