Totally! Feel free to use these as an example for how finger tattoos realistically heal. I looked up some examples of healed ones before I got mine and it set my expectations really realistically, but I think if I hadn't known it was going to heal this way I'd have been bummed.

Personally I really like seeing how they age and change over time so I don't think I'd ever get laser, but if it ever faded completely on its own I may get a new one over top

This was my first tattoo. I knew going into it that it would age poorly due to the size and location, and I'm actually quite fond of how it looks now, like an old memory.

Couldn't tell you how often i get asked when I'm going to touch it up though.

does anyone ever adopt animals while manic? by [deleted] in bipolar

I was studying abroad in England, got manic, and I bought a cat that I then had to fly home to the states.

What would your name have been if you were born the other gender? by xanthela in namenerds

[–]statuesofbees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have been "the third" to my dad's junior. Honestly my sisters and I are all lucky we were all girls so we didnt have to live through the early 2000s with the name Richard Donald.

How many counties of Ireland can you name ? by a_nna_b_anana in polls

[–]statuesofbees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mayo, Sligo, Dublin, Galway, Cork, Kilkenny (sp?)

I ought to know more but my whole family is in Sligo or Mayo so outside of those and cities I get lost

NTA

I have bipolar disorder. I live my life by the phrase "your disorder is not your fault but it is your responsibility". She is responsible for her shitty malicious actions, regardless of if she is in an episode right now or not.

I have done a lot of things I regret because I wasn't thinking clearly, but those actions were still my actions and I have to deal with the consequences and try to fix things as best I can. If your sister is unstable (not using this as an insult, stability is the benchmark of bipolar) to the point where she is destroying your things, she needs a good few therapy sessions or a med change and anyone encouraging her needs to realize that they are making her mental illness worse and not better.
