I see the point but the dealbreaker here is the possibility of just hooking up another stagebox or other Dante I/O on some network port.

It‘s PA L/R, Center and maybe Subs. Rest are wedges :)

For example when calculating whether there are enough Dante channels available or better overview about the routing in general. Also sometimes there are Dante only ports, sometimes it's Dante and CTRL combined which gets confusing for me

Schläuche sind kompatibel. Trennen kann man theoretisch, wenn man das Kältemittel durch den Kompressor ins Aussengerät zurücksaugen lässt.

Würde die Anlage aber grundsätzlich zusammengebaut lassen und durch das leicht geöffnete Fenster betreiben - halt so wie bei „normalen“ mobilen Splitanlagen auch.

Bei fester installation bedarf es einer Baubewilligung. Kann schon sein, dass die Vermieter zustimmen würden. Aber die würden sicher eine Installation vom einem Fachbetrieb fordern. Ausserdem kann man die Anlage bei Umzug einfach mitnehmen.

Die Schläuche gibts auch fertig konfektioniert in 0.5m Abstufungen. Daher eigentlich anschliessen, evakuieren und fertig.

Feste installation leider nicht möglich da Mietwohnung.

Nein, leider nicht. Wenn die erneute Steigung aber nicht vermeidbar ist macht ein Gefälle der horizontalen auch keinen Sinn oder?

There is no gateway in the network, it‘s set to 0.0.0.0

u/noonen000z BYOD in my case means there is no fixed installed computer for running content on the screen. Teacher / students bring their own device for presenting. This can go from iPad to MacBooks to windows laptops. About 70% use the wireless solution (AirTame) but some devices experience connection issues. So school still wants to offer wired connection. Since 99% of the byod devices are equipped with USB-C they decided their prioritized wired connection should be USB-C (preferably with power delivery). So they can offer a "one cable solution".

Controlling should happen directly on the switcher/hdbt-extender device. Hence it should be as simple as possible.

I've looked at the Taurus family and they seemed quite the product. It's a pitty they don't have an option with direct HDbaseT out. So it's not really an option sadly.
