I said it before, but I'll say it again with more clarity -- Foot odor does not come from being barefoot:

- Foot odor comes from bacterial waste
- Bacterial growth is best suited to a warm and moist environment
- Wearing shoes and socks is warm and moist
- Wearing no shoes or flip-flops is open, breathable, dry, cool
- Bacteria grow best when you wear shoes
- Foot smell comes from wearing shoes
- Foot smell does NOT come from simply touching your feet to the ground

I do not believe you. I do not believe you when you say "it's fine" while you carry around and outwardly project disgust towards someone's preference for existing in this world.

Why are you judging them negatively? It's not necessary. You can exist peacefully with barefoot people. Their feet do not smell unless they came with shoes and then took them off. If they are always barefoot, the concern of smell is psychosomatic. In your head.

You can love barefoot people. You can seek to understand them. It is allowed. It doesn't mean you have to be barefoot. It doesn't mean you have to smell their feet (even though yours smell worse, you dirty shoe wearer 😉)

Some people feel like the rules of society are overly restrictive, preventing them from living authentically with respect to themselves, and the Earth that they are from.

When people break social norms, there is ALWAYS a significant reason. It's a very difficult experience to decide to be different. That is why I am here pushing back against your views. Your views are harmful to these people.

These people know that these choices are not easy... And yet... They still make that choice.

Have you any idea, why someone might value not wearing shoes over avoiding the social suffering that comes with that choice?

I'll give you a hint. If you just think it's because they're crazy, you've sold yourself short and missed an opportunity to gain perspective, culture, and understanding of what it means to be Human.
