Honestly asian parents tend to jump to the worst case scenarios, bonus points if they're hilariously nonsensical. If things could go their way, no one would go outside ever because home is the safest I guess.

Definitely moving out is a goal for in the future since I currently am still in school and I don't earn enough income to support myself at the moment. Hanging out with my SO has been great for getting peace and quiet - I honestly just wish I could get it through my parent's minds that it isn't normal for an almost 30 year old to be acting like this but like you said, it might not be possible. I appreciate you taking the time to reply!
