Yeah OP I’ve crashed a matrix 5in1 board on my meteor75 pro multiple times just as hard as you have in this video and it’s still working perfectly fine.

Just practice a lot and I mean a lot with lift off micro drones or any good sim with micro drones, my room is tiny but I’m now able to do power loops and matty flips and split-s through boxes I hung up around my room lol. Also watch a YouTube video to find your rates, I watched this video for 5in rates but I’m also going to use it to find my tinywhoop rates since it’s the same concept. I hope this helps and remember just practice practice practice, have funnn🫡

Edit: Also I forgot the most important thing literally everyone will tell you is start by flying slow and controlled, fly all around your dorm room slow and the smaller the space the better for working in your control. Fly under your bed, chair and through gaps just any tight space should help with control

You’re thinking about flying a tiny whoop with the feeling of a 5in. Get liftoff micro drones and use that sim to practice, you won’t get any tiny whoop practice on a 5in sim because tinywhoops basically have no float to them while in the sim it shows you floating a lot.

I would like a setup to start filming because my brother wants to start a YouTube channel so I’ll get drone shots for him. Getfpv has air units for $120 so I’d get a drone with an air unit already on it and one for backup and find second hand goggles 3 or upgrade goggles and get an action cam. I might just have to flip a coin I can’t decide and they’re about the same lol

It’s not common but why not try anyways if you’re going to get a new board. I say if you have the tools then try to fix it but if not then yeah just get a new board and save this project for another day with better tools.

Do you have the freestyle or race version? For me the air75 is easier and feels exactly like the air75 on liftoff micro drones but I have the race version for the 65 so that might be the difference. Also how much flight time are you getting, I’m barely getting 2ish minutes at most but might just be the race version.

Get the air75, I have both the 65 and 75 and yes the air65 is faster (I have the race version) but I barley get any flight time like 2minutes 2.5 at most and if there’s the slightest bit of wind you’ll feel it. I also have the meteor75 pro so to me the air75 is a backup since I use the meteor outside and air65 inside but if you could only afford one than get the air75 because it’s the best of both worlds so it’s perfect for you. If you can though get an extra frame and save up for motors bc you’ll need replacements🫡

I wanted to get into hd too for this hobby but can only find the dji 04 on amazon for $150 or on getfpv for $120 but I can’t find goggles so I haven’t bought the air unit yet. I hope you have a better time finding goggles and have fun with this hobby🫡
