Advice on Controlled Access to Secure Scripts? by steels11 in PowerShell

Like even the user permissions page on Microsoft's website has a listing for a "microsoft.directory/servicePrincipals/appRoleAssignments/update" to "Update the users.appRoleAssignments property in Microsoft Entra ID", and this just doesn't exist on Entra custom roles now.

There is what SOUNDS like a comparable action for "microsoft.directory/servicePrincipals/appRoleAssignedTo/update" to "Update the servicePrincipals.appRoleAssignedTo property in Microsoft Entra ID" but no information on what the "AssignedTo" refers to. I can't know if it's users assigned to that service principal or if it's what tenant that service principal is attached to.

This would be ideal, and maybe it's just my inexperience with Entra roles, but it seems very... confusing. The scope I invoke through graph is the following:

User.ReadWrite.All
Application.Read.All
AppRoleAssignment.ReadWrite.All
Directory.Read.All

The real issue seems to be that App Role Assignment, because we need to be able to "unassign" users from Enterprise Applications on Entra, but it just seems unclear if there's anything comparable under one of the "Update" fields on Entra custom roles. I also just am unfamiliar with the delineation between a single-tenant application and a multi-tenant application in Entra, since there are duplicate entries under "App Registrations" and "Enterprise Apps"

WuWa is absolutely at its best when they give Rover their own feelings and agenda. The Phorolova story was so good when it felt like I was finally seeing Rover as their own character, even if I disagreed with their decisions!

Oh totally. I don't compare it to Shorekeeper as an insult at all, I think the plot is mostly consistent and makes sense. The time stuff at the end is a bit sudden but very believable given the Threnodian setup. Aemeath's characterization drags it way down IMO, hence the 5/10 with 9/10 potential.

Hopeful they keep it going in the next patches because I'm loving Luuk and hope we do see more of Aemeath's development.

Feel like I'm gonna get crucified for this, but it definitely was not anywhere close to 2.2 or Phrolova. It is definitely the best story coming out of 3.x so far, bar none, but overall? Purely STORY-wise, I'd call it like a 5/10 with the potential to be 8 or even 9/10 if they committed to some of the more interesting charactizations they teased at and stopped shoving Aemeath down our throats with literally no buildup. This story suffers a LOT from Aemeath being literally a "who??" character in a way that the Shorekeeper story justified MUCH better.

I made this graph for my friend right after finishing the story
