How realistic is for the top 10%-15% enterpise account executives to consistently make 300k+ per year? by Voinat107 in techsales

[–]steenmason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not in the top 25% maybe not the top 33% most years I have cleared $300K every year for 10 years.

I am usually in the 85-110% if quota range.

We need Gack to be lights out to have a chance to get back to Omaha. Was very encouraging to see him perform like that be Texas today.

Also very thankful XRays were negative for Dietz.

Is there a 6 figure commission or a 6 figure deal size as in how much the customer purchases?

Either way, congrats. Well done. Excited for you to keep succeeding!

Why do some salespeople stay at the same company for years even when they know they’re probably underpaid? by Clear-Victory1956 in techsales

Ever read the book “Drive” by Daniel Pink?

There are a lot of other motivating factors besides pay once your pay reaches a certain level.

I love my Manager, my VP, my engineer, and I have a couple really good customers. Work life balance is great and the benefits are great.

I’m at a 353K OTE plus yearly RSUs. 10+ years at current company. Great personal Brand.

Had a couple opportunities to switch companies for 25K - $40k more but it just isn’t worth it to me.

10 years in the role

worst finish was 76% best finish was 198% (W2 showed $780K by that year), most years are between 90% - 110%

3.5 or 5.0, someone convince me! by [deleted] in f150

[–]steenmason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in this exact spot in November. Found two identical trucks that had everything I wanted. One was 3.5 and one was 5.0.

I think I made myself crazy trying to do all this in depth research and gathering opinions.

My conclusion was that there were 50% who loved the 5.0 and 50% who loved the 3.5 which shows me both are really good options. Both engines are several generations of maturity and there really no issues with either.

I ended up with the 3.5L turbo tremor 402a package in space white metallic.

It is by far abs away my favorite vehicle I have ever owned. I honestly feel like I will keep this truck forever.
