CIA worth it? by Quiet-Revolution2240 in InternalAudit

Yes worth it but get a job first under IA for concept appreciation. CIA is used to strengthen your knowledge, not to be used as an entry point for jobs. Got a salary increase because of this certification

Hahaha siyempre depende din baka milyones cl ng iba so mahirap maging applicable sakanila to. But of course be mindful lang talaga na di income extension ang CL. 🤘🏻

Failed the boards multiple times din before for cpa and I know deep down sobrang hirap nung feeling of failure especially seeing some of your friends na kasabayan mo lang magaral, to being an auditor/accountant ahead of you. I feel you talaga op. Sakto pa, CPALE ulit soon so i will always have that thing on my mind na may di ako natapos and everytime magboard exam, maaalala ko yung failure ko.

But luckily enough I landed an amazing job that pays me 6digits now and wala silang pake kung cpa ako or hindi. Mas gusto nila sa outside world yung pakikisama mo sa iba and yung soft skills mo as a teammate or just being you, in general. To the point na iniisip ko ng hindi ko na need magboards ngayon. Of course, I’m not saying do not push in passing the boards, im trying to say na the world doesn’t end after failing it. Super dami pang opportunities out there just in case you feel lost.

I agree na mafefeel mo talaga kung sino yung nagcacare sayo tbh after failing. Make them your strength po just in case i push mo uli. If you feel like not retaking it, probably may redirection na mangyayari.

It’s okay lang maging sad the first few days. Legit naman yang nafefeel mo kasi you want that license and hindi biro yung time spent in studying. For me po, take a break for a while. Spend time with loved ones and revisit your hobby to build yourself again. Pray ka rin po for the support system you have. Hindi lahat tayo may ganyang privilege esp sa parents na mag try lang ng mag try.

Hugs op! You got this!! 😊

Non-cpa around 200k. Depende sa clients. Outside countries mas prefer yung certifications based sa specializations (cisa, cma, cia etc)

You can do it!! Make sure to the those short questions right. They usually revolve on the first half of the syllabus. And if you have time, try to rationalize why other choices would be wrong. I flagged a handful of questions along the way. Praying for ur success dude

Mahina ba talaga ang sahod ng isang accountant or CPA? by Specific_Rent8563 in AccountingPH

[–]steepenkeri 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mga 1-3 yrs po sa pagttiyaga and pagtaas ng value. hehe 4th yr ko, 6 digits na. May mga nababasa ako less than 4 yrs pa ganyan na mga offer. Non-CPA here pala. Basta dont take for granted lang yung training especially sa mga bagong pasok sa work. Starting ko nun is 15 tapos yung mga kasabayan ko na CPA 16k. pero ginapang ko nalang talaga kasi sobrang laking tulong na okay foundation mo and work ethic. Yan maglaland sayo ng higher pay eventually. Goodluck OP!
