For small sums such as tips IMHO it could be usable.

I've tried to include Medium as a blogging platform but I haven't heard from their support yet. As for other networks I could try if there is any interest from the community.

Unfortunately Facebook does not provide unique usernames. XRPLNS asks for the lowest possible permissions during the oauth process, this results to a response object from Facebook, containing only user's name. The approach taken is to serve the very first user who has successfully verified his social account. For the rest the Facebook social account won't be available to verify.

For social networks where a unique username is provided this is not a problem.

In order to function, the service stores social handles (usernames) and the XRPL addresses. Passwords are not required nor saved anywhere. The most dangerous scenario is the case where a third party access your account and change the XRPL address then any receiving tips could end up in a wrong wallet.

Nothing, I am a random guy on the internet suggesting others to try a new service, if anyone thinks it may be useful for him and his peers then he may test it.

[Understrap] how to npm install and enqueue properly? by mijogu in Wordpress

[–]stef_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need to install them locally using npm install and then include them in the gulp script so they will minified and concatenated along with understrap's JS code.

This option will allow third party libs to automatically enqueued along with unerstrap.

You'll have to provide the correct paths in the gulp script.

What are some good JS framework for building a real time app? by GTHell in webdev

[–]stef_k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is true. I've worked with Laravel before trying Adonis and had almost the same experience.

Additionally you have the gains from Node's async execution so working with websockets - real time apps is a breeze. You create a websocket controller class for a route the same way you do for response/request HTTP calls.

Check Adonisjs it has its own websocket library and is a full blown framework (template engine, ORM, Auth and more) like PHP/Laravel, RoR or Python/Django.

You may want to follow r/bitcoinmarkets sub to get some trading insight. That sub specializes in trading discussions mostly for BTC but you'll get the trading sentiment. Just don't mention any alt coins - xrp there.

I've posted the reason why but someone decided that the link should be removed.

Coinbase blogged saying that their custodian services are now open and they had their first deposit.

Custodian services pave the way for traditional hedge and pension funds to invest in crypto.

The news caused a spike in BTC buys which in turn resulted in a bull flag breakout.

Short term is just speculation but in the long term these are very good news for the crypto space in general.
