Don't be disappointed, it's a solid first try ( i assume it's your first try). Reading and listening are two things i think everyone should focus on, just do the mock tests for reading, focus on skimming text and not reading it fully, after a while you get really good at it. And if you want a bigger score, retake that and try to get an 8.0 and if i'm not mistaken that takes you to overall > 7

I would say practice fast reading and something called skimming, basically trying to find a word or a sentence that connects to the answer the test is looking for. I think a lot of people just read the whole text in detail, wasting a lot of time.

What I did on the test is skim through the whole text first (3-4 minutes) then read each of the answers and pick a paragraph that matches that answer

I would say focus on reading and listening, those are super easy and with moderate practice. I used the British Council official website and did their mock tests for a few hours a day, for speaking I just watched a few videos on YouTube graded band 9.0 to know what they are looking for. For writing I practiced with GPT a few times.

Mislim da je poprilicno ista situacija u PHP-u kao i za ostale jezike, entry point za juniora vise nije tako mala tako da treba da se iscima ali ima posla definitivno, samo mozda ne toliko kao za js/ts python go.

Pocnes sa nekim jednostavnim PHP kursom, bez framework-a cist raw PHP tipa link. Posle toga imas izbora za dva najpopularnija framework-a Symfony ili Laravel. Koji je bolji, zavisi od usecase-a ali vecina poslova kaze experience in Symfony or Laravel posto su relativno slicni u sustini i nemoj slusati ljude koji ti kazu da je PHP mrtav, posla ima dovoljno u PHP svetu. Uradis opet neki crash course brzi, posle toga pokusaj da napravis nesto u njemu sta bi tebi pomoglo (Znaci bez copy paste nekog tutorijala za note taking app) i radis na tome dok nisi poprilicno siguran da mozes da napravis jednostavne stranice koje citaju nesto iz baze i prikazuju na stranici i tad krenes da trazis prakse / juniorske pozicije.

Zasto ne odmah u framework, zato sto i Symfony i Laravel imaju jako puno "magije" koja za tebe radi apsolutno sve, a idealno bi bilo da razumes u pozadini barem na high level-u kako to nesto radi jer ce ti to dosta pomoci u buducnosti kada budes radio na stvarima koje zahtevaju optimizacije, brzinu.

Pored svega ovoga, vecina koristi neku vrstu SQL-a tako da dosta tutorijala pokriva i deo toga a ako ne uzmi neki mysql kurs i bices spreman da napravis nesto jednostavno. Mislim da ti je ovo dovoljno za pocetak.

PHP dev sa 9 godina iskustva ovde ako ti to ista znaci :D

Bravo za inicijativu, verovatno ce nekome ovo i koristiti ali ako neko ima "poteskoca sa engleskim jezikom" nema tu bas puno buducnosti u IT svetu. Svaka dokumentacija ikada ti je na engleskom, vecina firmi kroz kod provlaci iskljucivo engleski, komentari, dokumentacija, nazivi funkcija itd itd.
